Shark Infested Waters

The Pit is a watery maze where you must navigate from one small island outcrop to another, through shark infested water that is. Be warned there are a lot of sharks and you will probably die, a few times, before you reach the end. But there are resources and items along the way to help you survive your journey to the pit, where you will inevitably die anyways. There are sharks of all kinds on the island for you to see, or avoid. Along with other animals to keep you company on shore while you hide from the sharks. You will probably die a few times so make sure you have a respawn point before you start the trip, and be on the look out for items on the island to help you with any boo boos you get. And if you should survive your island hopping journey to the end that is where the pit lies.

It's long! Dark! and Hard, to survive!

I would definitely recommend making a little base when you come ashore. And if you are brave enough to attempt to reach the bottom of the pit I would recommend making another one at the end so you can save the game before attempting to survive the pit. The pit goes all the way down to the ocean floor and there are sharks guarding the entrance. The island next to it has all the items you will need to make it to the bottom and back. And there are 2 rest spots with lanterns along the way where you can find additional oxygen tanks and breath boosters. Don't bother bringing a lantern or flashlight with you though as they won't help (seriously! It's literally completely dark and torches/lanterns don't even work). Once you enter the pit it will be complete darkness and neither item will do you any good. You will know you reached the bottom once you find more items for you to use on the long trip back to the surface.

Developer note : I would definitely recommend using the "increased stack size" mod for this map (and honestly would recommend using it with every map) as there are so many resources even with the mod it will fill your entire inventory of storage containers.

This was a really fun map to make and test out! I hope everyone enjoys it and leave a comment or video if you can reach the bottom. I got most of the way down a couple times but chickened out, even on creative mode where I'm invincible. The darkness is just to realistic and scary! If you do enjoy this map I have made a few others so far: The Cove ,Shipwreck, and Paradise Island, and I will be making more.
