Stranded Deep Table Storage

Table Storage turns Stranded Deep's existing tables into functional storage furniture.

Instead of adding a separate container object, the mod enhances the game's normal Wood Table, Plank Table and Corrugated Table.

Build a table normally and it automatically gains a storage interaction while keeping its original model, physics and movement behavior.

SUPPORTED TABLES

Table Storage supports:

• Wood Table

• Plank Table

• Corrugated Table

All supported tables use the same storage capacity and behavior.

NATIVE-STYLE STORAGE

Each supported table provides 7 storage slots.

The storage uses Stranded Deep's existing storage systems and radial interface rather than a custom inventory window.

This means opening, closing, adding items and removing items behave like normal Stranded Deep storage.

INCREASED STACK CAPACITY

Stackable resources stored inside Table Storage can use an increased stack capacity.

The default multiplier is 3× and can be configured from 1× to 10×.

For example, with the default 3× setting:

Normal stack size: 4

Table Storage stack size: 12

The multiplier only applies inside managed tables.

Player inventory, normal crates and other storage containers remain unchanged.

Items that normally have a stack size of 1 remain non-stackable.

For example:

Normal stack size: 4

TABLE INTERACTION

The table has two interaction areas.

Aim at the center of the tabletop to open its storage.

Aim toward the edge or legs to interact with the table itself and move it normally.

This allows the same object to function as both furniture and storage without replacing the normal table interaction.

VISUAL CONTENT DISPLAY

Stored item types are represented visually on the tabletop.

After the storage contents change, the display updates to reflect what is currently stored inside.

The display is visual only. The actual inventory remains in the table storage.

LOCAL SPLIT-SCREEN

Table Storage was designed for local two-player split-screen.

Both players interact with the same physical table and the same shared storage.

If Player 1 places an item into a table, Player 2 sees and accesses that same stored item.

There are no separate P1 and P2 inventories for the table.

PERSISTENCE

Table Storage maintains its additional storage state using persistent sidecar data.

The storage state is synchronized with the normal Stranded Deep save cycle.

Saving the game also saves the current table contents.

After loading the world again, the table storage and its visual display are restored.

The mod uses Stranded Deep's own SlotStorage serialization for stored items rather than manually recreating inventory contents.

MOVING TABLES

Tables can still be picked up and moved.

The storage remains associated with the table while it is repositioned.

After the table is released, its normal positioning and physics behavior are restored.

IN-GAME SETTINGS

Table Storage integrates with Stranded Deep Mod Settings.

Install Stranded Deep Mod Settings to configure Table Storage directly in game through:

Options → MODS → TABLE STORAGE

Available settings:

• Stack Multiplier — 1× to 10×

• Tabletop Contents — On / Off

• Items per Slot — 1 to 3 decorative item previews

Russian and English interface text is included.

Table Storage continues to work without Mod Settings. Its BepInEx configuration remains the source of truth.

MANUAL INSTALLATION

1. Install BepInEx 5 for Stranded Deep if it is not already installed.

2. Close Stranded Deep.

3. Extract the archive into the Stranded Deep game directory.

4. Allow the included BepInEx folder to merge with your existing BepInEx folder.
