Stranded Deep Raft Furniture

Raft Furniture expands the Stranded Deep raft from simple transport into a practical mobile base.

The mod allows selected furniture and survival structures to be placed or repositioned on the raft while preserving raft movement, physics, local split-screen controls and persistent object attachment.

It uses existing Stranded Deep objects rather than replacing them with custom decorative props.

SUPPORTED OBJECTS

Raft Furniture supports:

• Water Still

• Light Hook

• Camp Fire

• Container Shelf

The Camp Fire → Fire Pit → Smoker chain keeps its normal Stranded Deep construction relationship while operating on the raft.

MOBILE BASE

Supported objects remain associated with the raft as it moves.

The mod maintains raft-local attachment information instead of relying only on simple Transform parenting.

This allows furniture and survival structures to behave as part of the moving raft without unnecessarily interfering with raft physics or buoyancy.

COOKING STATIONS

Camp Fire, Fire Pit and Smoker can be used on the raft.

Food attached to raft cooking stations is kept aligned with the correct cooking structure while the raft moves and after load-time repair.

The normal Stranded Deep cooking chain is preserved.

WATER STILL

The Water Still can be placed and repositioned on the raft.

Its raft behavior is handled specifically to avoid the physics problems that can occur when large structures interact with a moving raft.

The Light Hook can be placed and repositioned on the raft.

A normal Fire Torch can still be used with the hook.

CONTAINER SHELF

The native Container Shelf can be freely repositioned on the raft.

The mod moves the shelf itself without replacing or removing its normal crate sockets.

REPOSITIONING

Supported objects can use raft-aware repositioning.

Release L2 / LT

→ rotate by 15 degrees

Input is resolved for the local player performing the action.

Player 1 and Player 2 do not control each other's active reposition target.

LOCAL SPLIT-SCREEN

Raft Furniture was designed and field-tested for two-player local split-screen.

Player ownership is resolved through the game's local player and controller context rather than assuming that the game has only one camera or one controller.

PERSISTENCE

Raft Furniture stores persistent object-to-raft attachment information in:

BepInEx/config/StrandedDeepRaftFurniture/Attachments.json

The sidecar stores the raft association and raft-local pose of supported objects.

The mod also works with the normal Stranded Deep save cycle.

Save → full restart → Load behavior has been field-tested for supported raft objects.

IN-GAME SETTINGS

Raft Furniture integrates with Stranded Deep Mod Settings.

Install Stranded Deep Mod Settings to configure Raft Furniture directly in game through:

Russian and English interface text is included.

Stranded Deep Mod Settings is optional. Raft Furniture continues to work using its own BepInEx configuration when Mod Settings is not installed.

EMERGENCY RAFT UPRIGHT

An Emergency Raft Upright action is available through Mod Settings.

It levels the nearest raft and is intended as a recovery tool if the raft ends up in an abnormal orientation.

COMPATIBILITY

Raft Furniture is designed to coexist with Stranded Deep Table Storage.

Raft-managed tables remain under Raft Furniture's movement and attachment handling, while Table Storage can continue to provide its storage functionality.
