Exotic Weapons (4.4.*) Bring legendary fantasy and science-fiction firepower to your Stellaris fleets. Exotic Weapons adds 28 new researchable ship components inspired by weapons and artifacts from movies, television, books, comics, and mythology. Every item has its own technology, component artwork, combat role, and visual effect. Component Slots This release adds components for the following Ship Designer slots: T — Titanic weapons X — Spinal-mounted weapons L — Large weapons M — Medium weapons G — Torpedoes and guided weapons P — Point-defense weapons Aux — Auxiliary components Simple Vanilla-Tech Progression Each Exotic Weapon is unlocked by one or more existing vanilla technologies from Physics, Society, and Engineering. Research the required vanilla technology, complete the Exotic Weapons technology research, and the component becomes available in the Ship Designer. 28 Exotic Components Each heading shows the research branch in which the Exotic Weapons technology appears. "Requires" lists the vanilla technologies that must already be researched before that weapon technology can appear.
