Long ago, the vestiges of the "Great Star," the shed leaves from the Tree of Stars, and the boughs from the Beyond became deeply etched into the endless cycles of this universe's spacetime. This allowed the story to restart, setting the stars in motion again. At this moment, the stars slumber alongside all living beings. In short, this mod adds a total of ten different ascension perks paths (eight main ascension paths and two for entertainment purposes), along with new species, weapons, and a variety of effects brought by these ascensions. This mod adds ten three-stage ascension paths to the game, along with four selectable four-stage ascensions and enhanced technologies. It includes three three-stage ascension paths independent of vanilla mechanics—Mechanical, Spiritual Entity (custom-made), and Genetic—as well as the Spirit–Machine, Spirit–Gene, and Gene–Machine ascension paths. In addition, there are the Gestalt Machine Intelligence and Hive Mind, for a total of eight main ascension paths. There are also three-stage “entertainment” ascension paths for Aquatic and Lithoid species.
