📋 About This Mod
For those of us with 4K (3840x2160) displays, the UI Scaling option generally needs to be set to 2. 0 or higher to make things readable. Unfortunately, this creates a lot of readability and graphical issues. This mod attempts to fix that. Stellaris HD should work with just about any mod that doesn't impact the UI. For those mods that do impact the UI, the Stellaris HD Compatibility Utility can be used to generate compatibility mods (more on this below). READ THIS: Access your settings.txt file (usually found in C:\Users\ \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris) and change the gui_scale value to be gui_scale=1. 000000. This value may not be set correctly in-game. For me, the game sets this to be 1. 000001. Stellaris HD does some special processing for the images to improve pixel-perfection and not doing this messes stuff up. Generally, Stellaris HD should be the first mod in the load order. Any HD compatibility mods should be loaded after the mod that they are providing compatibility for. Click here to download the Stellaris HD Compatibility Utility. Unzip the contents somewhere and open the .html file in either Chrome or Firefox. Follow the instructions from there.
