Rival Just Anyone

Updated for Stellaris 3. 8 Allows you to rival anyone, since it's your decision who is your rival Description Why do I need bad relations with an empire just to declare them a rival? And why should I care if they are pathetic or overwhelming compared to me? Just makes no sense to me. If you feel the same, this is the mod for you. This lifts the restriction on rivals so you can just rival anyone anywhere in the galaxy. Go out there and make some enemies! What is changed in detail: - You can also rival pathetic and overwhelming empires - You can rival regardless of the empire's opinion of you (no bad relations needed) - You don't need to send an envoy to harm relations first to rival an empire - You don't need the Supremacist diplomatic stance to rival an empire This will work for players and the AI as well. What is not changed: - Empires that don't do diplomacy still cannot rival others (e.g. machine exterminators or inward perfectionists) Save Game Compatibility Should be save to install and remove during running games (I had no problems so far). The Rival restrictions are determined while playing the game so there should be no issues. Mod Compatibility Should be compatible with almost anything as it does not modify vanilla files, only overwrites some parts of files relating to rivals. Values in files adjusted: common\diplomatic_actions\00_actions.txt common\game_rules\00_rules.txt This mod does not overwrite these files in their entirety, but changes some values, and thus will be incompatible with mods that overwrite the same values.
