Simplified Sorter Code

This IC script is based on the printer/sorter design by @CowsAreEvil. The original design is here. I was having trouble understanding what the original script did and could not make it work. Probably my fault, but others have had trouble as well. This script will connect to all 4 sorters in the original design from a single IC d0 Sorter 1 d1 Sorter 2 d2 Sorter 3 d3 Sorter 4 d4 and d5 are unused If you are having trouble like I was, I found that most of the issues I experienced were due to the complexity of the chute routing. I have posted an image of the chute design. Note that in my version the sorters are on the floor above the printers where the original has the sorters on the floor below the printers. The code is fairly simple and is typed out here for you to follow: define IngotClass 19 main: alias sorter d0 jal start alias sorter d1 jal start alias sorter d2 jal start alias sorter d3 jal start j main start: bdns sorter ra #return to main if sorter does not exist s sorter Mode 2 #Mode 2 allows control by an IC ls r0 sorter 0 Class #load the class of the item in the sorter input seq r1 r0 IngotClass #set r1 to 1 if the item in the sorter is an ingot s sorter Output r1 #if there's an ingot send it out the left (back) of the sorter #everything else goes to the front j ra #return to the main loop
