Graphics RE-Vision (Non-ReShade)

The purpose of this mod is to push the game's graphics engine beyond ultra settings, without crashing its already delicate performance. It only uses native variables, so it's fully (manually) configurable, doesn't need ReShade, it won't change the game's colors, and it's compatible with mods and everything else.

The mod's file contains all the information and instructions to apply and edit the mod. If you follow the instructions, this mod is mostly doing copy-paste, so don't be discouraged. Nonetheless, I have provided additional information on many of the variables, so you may fine-tune them as you wish.

You can check screenshots of the before and after in the mod's images section. (I used similar positions, but since the sky has constantly moving clouds, ignore some lighting changes.)

Highlights:

• []Increased quality and rendering distance of LODs, shadows, lights, particles, volumetric effects, reflections, terrain, trees, foliage, grass, objects, meshes, etc.

  []Increased particle density of effects, such as fire, smoke, Plague Heart's area fog, etc.

  []Slight image and texture sharpening via mipmaps, temporal anti-aliasing, and tonemapper.

  []Increased the max number of zombies the AI can add to Crowd Manager.

  []Higher max number of rendered dead bodies.

  []Allowed/Called for many other Engine effects (although the game ignores and/or doesn't use some them).
