📋 About This Mod

What this retexture mod change ?

It change all sight reticles on all weapons (i hope). I try to change all files to made it perfect.

When i played Starfield, i feeled this reticles was to big and i wanted to add some Halo vibes with my style.

How to install ?

FIRST OF ALL YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS.

Go to "Documents\My Games\Starfield" open the file "StarfieldCustom.ini" with your favorite text editor and add those lines:

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

sResourceDataDirsFinal=

(If you already have those lines you can continu...)

After all of this.

  • []You can install it manually going into "Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data" and extract "textures" folder.

OR

  • []You can install it with a mod manager like Vortex from NexusMods.

Don't hesitate to overwrite other mod files if you want it to work! But normally it's compatible with everything

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Weapon Reticles Enhanced is a compact cosmetic mod for Fallout 4 that replaces the default reflex and holographic sight reticles with sleeker, Halo-inspired designs. It has 145 endorsements and over 130,000 downloads, making it a popular choice for players who want a cleaner aiming experience without changing gameplay.

✨ Key Features

Replaces default reflex and holographic sight reticles with Halo-inspired designs
Aims to reduce the visual bulk of vanilla reticles for a more refined aiming experience
Preserves the vanilla feel while enhancing the reticle appearance

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Huge download count (130k+) shows it's a go-to for reticle overhauls
  • Lightweight cosmetic change—no gameplay tweaks to worry about
  • Halo-inspired designs are a nice touch for sci-fi fans

⚠️ Cons

  • Only covers reflex and holographic sights—other optic types are untouched
  • No screenshots or detailed previews in the description, so you're flying blind until you test it
  • Last updated in May 2026—might not be compatible with future game patches
🎯 Is This For You?
For Fallout 4 players who find the vanilla reticles too chunky and want a cleaner, more tactical look. It's perfect for those who appreciate Halo's aesthetic and want a subtle visual upgrade without altering gameplay. Skip if you're looking for new sights or gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • If you're using a mod manager like Vortex, just download and enable—it'll handle the file placement automatically.
  • Test with a reflex sight and a holographic sight in-game to see the difference; the change is subtle but noticeable.
  • Since it's a texture replacer, load order shouldn't matter much, but keep it after any mods that alter the same sights.
