A simple black and grey retexture of Walter Stroud's suit for male characters in Starfield. With 97 endorsements and over 31,000 downloads, it's a niche cosmetic tweak for players who want a darker look for this NPC's outfit.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid download-to-endorsement ratio (31,823 downloads, 97 endorsements) — plenty of people grabbed it, so it's likely doing its job
- Straightforward retexture: no complex dependencies or patches needed, just drop it in and go
- Gives Walter Stroud a more subdued, professional color scheme that fits a corporate vibe
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects male characters — female players or those using female Stroud variants get nothing
- No preview images or detailed description, so you're gambling on the exact shade of black and grey
- Last updated October 2023 — might not be tested against the latest Starfield patches, though retextures are usually resilient
For Starfield players who want Walter Stroud to look less flashy and more businesslike. If you're into visual tweaks for NPCs and don't mind a simple recolor, this is a quick grab. Skip if you want gameplay changes or female outfit support.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a retexture, make sure you place the files in the correct Data folder or use a mod manager like Vortex to avoid overwriting conflicts.
- If you're using other Stroud outfit mods, load this one after them to ensure the black and grey texture takes priority.
- Check the mod's comments section for any user reports about compatibility with the latest game version before installing.
