📋 About This Mod
Another Blend needs your help...
<<< FEATURES >>>
After you complete Yannick's quest chain on Neon you can continue working for Yannick. This is a repeatable quest and it appears automatically in your missions log. You can't decline or complete it. If you complete a shift at Xenofresh then the quest/activity will reappear in your missions log a couple of hours later. You have absolutely no saying in that. This is awful, especially since the quest marker constantly points towards Neon and Yannick when you have your missions set to "Show all targets".
This mod aims to fix that by manually disabling the quest entry. It'll disappear from your missions log and the quest marker will disappear as well. Huge annoyance, simple solution.
<<< INSTALL AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS >>>
< MANUAL INSTALL >
If you intend to install the files manually feel free to do so but be aware that I won't provide any assistance/support in this instance. Just drop the files into your game's root folder, where the Starfield.exe is found. More information on that topic can be found in this Modding Wiki article (Manual Installation section).
< USAGE INSTRUCTION >
This mod comes in form of a batch file that is executed by using the game's console. When the activity "Ask Yannick..." appears in your mission log simply open the console with the key specific to your keyboard's language. Then type the following and hit enter:
bat StopYannick
Afterwards the activity (misc. quest) should be gone, including its quest marker. If the activity happens to appear again after a while, even though it shouldn't, you can repeat the steps above.
<<< COMPATIBILITY >>>
Compatible with everything because none of the game's files were touched in the process.
<<< FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS >>>
Does this mod disable achievements?
Yes, using the console will disable achievements. You can use one of the following mods to work around that: Baka Achievement Enabler (SFSE), Achievement Enabler, Starfield Achievement Enabler
Is it safe to uninstall mid-playthrough?
Yes, it is. This mod doesn't contain anything that would be baked into your save.
