Since Starfield version 1. 8. 86 the stealth balancing has been improved which made some of the changes obsolete.
These are the remaining improvements:
- Reduced the NPC view cone detection radius
- Reduced the sound players produce when they are out of line of sight
- Added sound-based stealth penalties depending on equipment weight (Bethesda removed that in 1. 8. 86, this mod adds it back in a sensible and balanced way)
- Reduced the detection of sleeping NPCs
