📋 About This Mod
Slide Faster(first and third person) - faster sliding to make the sprint to slide transition feel more fluid and natural - now there's no momentum change, you don't slow down when you slide
Jump Cancel Slide(first and third person) - you can now jump out of slide! Fun for traversal from POI to POI, and getting somewhere quickly. You can cancel up to ten frames before the animation ends. There is still commitment to the slide animation!
Keep Moving(first and third person) - you now transition from slide into standing(you can keep running) rather than sneak/ crouched.
DON’T WORRY! You can still slide into sneak by tapping the sneak key again during the slide.
Better Third-Person Turn Leaning(third person only) - no more hard leaning left or right when turning. It is now a more natural visual and feeling (feature inclusion from my other mod, as this mod is an all in one locomotion mod)
Modular versions later.
This mod is STABLE, but is WIP. I intend to include more features, so come back to update and track to follow development.

Credit and Thanks
Thank you to Monitor144hz for guidance during development
Credit to Bethesda for providing the basis from which I am developing this mod. All that was implemented for the release of the game was fine, I am modifying it to fit my own vision.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 582 endorsements and 57k downloads
- Adds meaningful movement control improvements
- Covers both first and third person perspectives
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in October 2023 — may not be compatible with the latest Starfield patches
- Requires understanding of behavior mods; may conflict with other animation mods
For Starfield players who want tighter, more responsive movement controls, especially those who enjoy parkour-style play. If you're tired of clunky slide transitions and want more control, this is for you. Skip if you prefer vanilla movement or don't want to tweak behavior mods.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to back up your original game files before installing any behavior mod.
