📋 About This Mod
The design of Akila City fits better as a frontier town rather than the capital city of the Freestar Collective. I like the overall aesthetic of the town, but I didn't like the brown savannah and muddy walkways, so I decided to cover them with a dusting of snow. While I'm at it, I also decided to add the aurora borealis to the night sky (the northern lights, not the drug or DJ).
This mod changes the cosmetics of the savannah biome of Planet Akila, and renames it to "Akila Highlands". The climate has also been edited to include aurora and occasional snowfalls. This mod does NOT alter the mechanics relevant to gameplay and quests (such as keywords, flora, fauna, resources, etc). Shaw Gang Hideout may look different, but the quest shouldn't be affected. Asthas will still spawn as usual.
INSTALLATION:
Download the main file via a mod manager.
Requires the Shattered Space DLC.
