📋 About This Mod

Cleaner, more readable cockpit screen textures for Starfield. Includes simplified live-data screens, blank screen options, and modder screen maps. Hide the noise. Keep what works.

Simple Cockpit Screens

Cleaner, more readable cockpit displays for Starfield.

Simple Cockpit Screens replaces Starfield’s busy in-world cockpit display textures with cleaner alternatives:

  • []Simplified live-data screens[/]

    []Blank screen options[/]

    []Screen maps for modders[/]

The goal is still the same: hide the noise.

This mod started as just blank cockpit screens. I've now made those optional files. Main file is now simplified screens that preserve the default moving indicator regions while removing the static decorative greebles and cockpit-screen clutter that does not help you fly the ship.

No scripts. No plugin. No gameplay changes. No UI framework. Textures only.

    Why

Starfield’s cockpit screens look busy, but much of that detail is either fake data, too small to read, or superfluous in the context of actual ship piloting.

Some screen elements do move, which makes the displays feel like they might be doing something useful. The problem is that the surrounding visual noise makes it hard to tell what matters.

Simple Cockpit Screens keeps the useful visible motion where practical, enlarges explanatory labels where practical, and strips away the extra clutter so the screens read more clearly in normal play.

Especially when the ship HUD is layered directly over the cockpit displays, as with the Stroud cockpits, less noise is better.

    Main Features

    • []Simplified live-data cockpit screen textures[/]

[]Preserves useful moving indicator regions where practical[/]

      []Enlarges explanatory labels where practical[/]

[]Removes fake tiny readouts, dense tables, and decorative screen noise[/]

      []Includes blank cockpit screen options[/]

[]Includes screen maps / layout references for modders[/]

[]Covers Base/Nova, Deimos, HopeTech, Stroud-Eklund, and Taiyo cockpit screen texture paths[/]

[]Texture replacer only: no ESM, no ESP, no scripts, no SFSE[/]

[]Load-order neutral because there is no plugin[/]

      Included Options

      Simplified Screens

Cleaner cockpit display textures that preserve useful moving indicators while removing extra visual noise.

These are the main files for players who want cockpit screens that still feel alive, but are easier to read at a glance.

[]Keeps useful motion visible where practical[/]

      []Removes unnecessary screen clutter[/]

      []Enlarges labels where practical[/]

[*]Designed around how the textures actually appear
