Unlocks ALL VENDOR shipbuilding parts in ANY shipyard (except for Outpost one) - Also unlocks space station parts for ships.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the game doesnt like having that many parts shown at once, if you don't see a part, close the "add" window and then open it again
It doesnt actually unlock ALL parts, just the ones vendors have, without proper modding tools there is nothing I can do to change that - that means no parts from prebuilt ships or from quests
Installation: put the txt files in your game folder (steamapps\common\Starfield) - FOR GAMEPASS VERSION IT GOES IN CONTENT FOLDER (XboxGames\Starfield\Content) - NOT the Data folder (steamapps\common\Starfield\Data) and NOT the Documents folder
Go to a Ship Services Technician (DONT TALK TO THEM)
Open console ( ` )
Click on the NPC (make sure you have selected the NPC, look on the top-middle of the console window, if it doesnt say NPC, use the mouse scrollwheel until it does)
type "bat <TextFile>"
without quotes, replace <TextFile> with one of the options bellow:
shipyardunlock - unlocks ALL CORPORATE parts (does NOT include pirate, unstable or station parts)
shipyardunstable - unlocks EVERYTHING (can bug your game and lock you from progressing quests)
Then you can talk to them
Shipyards Unlocked is a discontinued gameplay mod for Starfield that removes vendor restrictions on shipbuilding parts, making all parts available at any shipyard except the Outpost shipbuilder. It also unlocks space station parts for ships. With nearly 4,000 endorsements and over 115,000 downloads, it was a popular quality-of-life tool before being discontinued in September 2023.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community adoption (3,946 endorsements, 115k downloads) — clearly a must-have for ship builders.
- Removes the grind of hopping between shipyards to find specific parts — one stop shopping.
- Space station parts on regular ships opens up wild new build possibilities.
⚠️ Cons
- Discontinued since September 2023 — may break with newer Starfield patches.
- Doesn't affect the Outpost shipbuilder, so you'll still need to travel for those builds.
For Starfield ship builders who hate flying across the settled systems just to find that one missing engine. If you're into creative ship design and want every part available without vendor hunting, this is a no-brainer. Skip if you're on the latest game version and worried about mod compatibility — it's been a while since the last update.
