Rev8BoostBetter

The Rev-8 is an awesome addition to the game, but trust Bethesda to make it kinda lame.

If it were possible to customize the Rev-8 the same way you upgrade your ship, this mod would not be necessary.

Oh well, at least we have the creation kit to play around with.

All I've done is tweak the boost duration and the time it takes to recharge, the picture shows all you need to know.

But I'll tell you anyway.

Default Recharge Delay was 1. 5 seconds, It's been reduced to only 0. 5 seconds.

Boost Recharge Duration was 5 seconds, now only takes 2 seconds to fully recharge.

Forward Boost Duration was 3 seconds, now is 5 seconds.

Vertical (UP) Boost Duration was a measly 1. 75 seconds, increased that to 4 seconds.

In my humbled opinion, this is all you'll ever need and it feels natural, not overpowered, like it should have always been this way.

Once you try it, you'll love it.

You cannot go to high! Game simply won't allow it.

Once you reach a certain altitude, the boost won't activate until you've dropped below the altitude threshold, so don't expect to launch yourself into space.

The boost recharges so quick you can basically fly around, depending on gravity strength.

It's loads of fun.

Install with Vortex, or drop the file into your Data folder.

Activate mod in the creations menu.
