📋 About This Mod
Both Spacers EIT Z Distributed and Crimson X Distributed are great mods for immersion, but both of them overwrite template files, which conflicts with the changes made by Ascension. In particular the changes made by Ascension to AI, Health, and EM Health, are overwritten for all Spacers and Crimson Fleet by these two mods.
I made this compatibility patch for personal use, but I'm sure many others will be interested as well.
Not required, but I highly recommend using my Ecliptic Overhaul for Ascension as well.
A compatibility patch that makes Spacers EIT Z Distributed and Crimson X Distributed work with the Ascension mod. Small but essential for players using both mods, with 11 endorsements and 6,218 downloads.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny but vital for anyone running these mods together—saves you from broken outfits
- Decent download count (6,218) shows people are actually using it
- Recently updated, so it's probably still working with current versions
⚠️ Cons
- Only 11 endorsements, so it's a niche fix with a small community
- Requires the original mods (Spacers EIT Z Distributed, Crimson X Distributed, and Ascension) to be useful
- Potential conflicts if Ascension or the distributed mods update—patch may need frequent updates
For Starfield modders who run Ascension and want the Spacer and Crimson Fleet outfits distributed properly. Skip if you don't use those mods—this does nothing on its own.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the original mods installed first, then drop this patch into your mod manager and let it overwrite.
- Load order matters: put this patch after Ascension and the distributed mods to ensure it takes effect.
- If you're on PC, verify your mod manager is set to load plugins in the right order—this patch is just a compatibility tweak.
