Introduction

First of all: If you are not a fan of Star Wars, this mod is probably not for you.

This mod is designed around the intention to turn Starfield into a Galaxy far, far away.

It is one small step and part of a series of weapon replacer mods I am planning to release in the near future.

The foundation why this mod exists is most notably the astonishing work of radicalclownfriend. I highly recommend to download all his mods, but especially the faction ones that turn United Colonies into the Galactic Empire and the Freestar Collective into the Rebel Alliance.

1) What the Mod does

• []All weapons by the manufacturer Laredo will be replaced by hopefully adequate counterparts out of the Star Wars Universe AND you get a Bowcaster on top (which replaces the BigBang).

  []The weapons are only one model and therefore not modular. You can of course add/change the same modifications the vanilla weapons have, but the weapon will always look the same.

  []Because some weapons always have scopes or simply look different than the vanilla ones, I tweaked the ADS view in first person, so you can always see what you're aiming at

  []All weapons have their sounds replaced. They now sound like you know it from other games/movies/series.

  []The Blasters shoot laser bolts. Thanks to radicalclownfriend for giving me the permission!

  []EM weapons also have new projectiles with a stun effect thanks to radiclown!

  []Optional: New weapon icons for the HUD to match the replaced models.

  Rattler      >>> DH-17 Blaster Pistol

  Regulator    >>> A-180 Blaster Pistol

  Razorback    >>> S-5 Heavy Blaster Pistol

  Lawgiver  >>> A-280 Blaster Rifle

  Tombstone >>> RT-97C Heavy Blaster Rifle

  Coachman  >>> Scatter Gun

  Bridger   >>> A-180 Projectile Launcher (Version 1. 2+) / Relby V10 Projectile Launcher (Version 1. 1)

  BigBang   >>> Bowcaster

  The BigBang is not a Laredo weapon, but the Bowcaster is a Star Wars classic and I wanted to share it. I thougt it fitted the Rebel theme the most.

  The Bowcaster comes with 2 additional weapon modifications you can build on the weapon workbench if you have the requirements:

  []Slug Rounds: Usually the BigBang is a shotgun. But if you put the Slug Rounds modification on it, it becomes a deadly ranged weapon with only one very strong projectile
