📋 About This Mod

This mod assumes that the current damage taken for the player in your modlist is too high. With that logic, the difficulty names for each file make sense. The higher the difficulty label, the closer it is to your base modlist (1. 0).

Please Note: The plugin for this is called "StarWarsGenesisDifficultyConfig.esm" but it does not require Star Wars Genesis or have any dependencies for it. I have simply uploaded it here as a possible resource for others.

Technical Info

On the technical side of things, this mod edits the GMST record fDiffMultHPToPCN (and other difficulty ones). Here is the value of those variables for each of my damage labels.

Disclaimer: All my Star Wars mods are built primarily for my Star Wars Genesis project. They are uploaded here so that non-Genesis users can obtain a part of the experience without installing a 130 GB modlist. Please be aware that you are not getting the full experience of any of my creations if you are not using Genesis. I strongly recommend installing Star Wars Genesis if you prefer a complete Star Wars RPG experience, rather than Starfield with a Star Wars skin.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

A compact gameplay mod for realistic modlists that reduces damage taken by the player without altering other mechanics. With 3 endorsements and over 15,000 downloads, it's a niche utility for players seeking increased survivability. Last updated July 2026.

✨ Key Features

Reduces damage taken by the player
Does not affect other game mechanics
Designed for realistic modlists

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Does exactly what it says: lowers incoming damage without touching anything else
  • Over 15,000 downloads shows real demand for this kind of tweak
  • Lightweight and focused—no bloat, just a difficulty modifier

⚠️ Cons

  • Only 3 endorsements, so it's not widely vetted by the community
  • No details on how much damage is reduced or if it's configurable
  • May conflict with other mods that alter player damage or difficulty
🎯 Is This For You?
For players running realistic modlists who find combat too punishing and want a simple survivability boost. Skip if you're looking for granular difficulty options or gameplay overhauls—this is a single-purpose tweak.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Check if your modlist uses a mod manager like MO2 or Vortex; if so, install via the manager to keep things tidy.
  • Since it's a damage modifier, test it in a low-stakes encounter first to see if the reduction feels right.
  • If you're using other difficulty mods, load this one after them to ensure it applies correctly.
