At night, it's COMPLETELY MIND-NUMBINGLY OPPRESSIVE. = Absolute pitch black. Probably the blackest environment I have experienced in Starfield. The atmosphere is so thick, no light from the Sun, stars, or Milky Way makes it's way through, so I hope you have a good flashlight mod and good ship lighting, hence the recommended mods below.

THE WEATHER: UPDATED to v2. 0

This update implements a new persistent weather condition:

• []Acid Vapor (100% Chance)

  Acid rain on Venus is a persistent, planet-wide phenomenon occurring in the upper- and middle-atmospheres, consisting of highly concentrated sulfuric acid. While these clouds create a storm atmosphere 38-miles deep, this acid rain never reaches the surface; It evaporates and vaporizes in the scorching mid-levels of the atmosphere due to heat and pressure, creating a toxic cycle known as virga.[/]

  []I've taken a little liberty and brought the virga cycl a little closer so you can experience it. It's not acid rain, but acid vapor, just as it exists 15-miles up from the surface. It's persistent, corrosive and HOT. If you use Deadly Hazards or other hardcore planetary hazard mod, you'll definitely want to plan accordingly.[/]

  I highly suggest the Atmospheric Audio mod I linked below, as it adds to the sense of utter isolation and claustrophobia at night.

  The other 'Realistic Venus Atmosphere' mod is broken and the author said they don't have any plans to update it, so I made this one from scratch using the Creation Kit.

  Installation Instructions:

  Use your chosen mod manager to install it, like any other basic mod.

  If you want to install it manually, just drop the RealVenusAtmosphere.esm into your 'Data' folder.
