This mod makes the following changes:
-
[]Adding over 200+ handplaced light sources [/]
[]Enhance visibility and give akila city a more welcoming atmosphere[/]
[]Fixes "broken" and missing lamps and makes them light up again[/]
Important notes:
-
[]For any feedback or errors, please leave it in the post sections[/]
[]Be aware that the engine does not turn off the lighting at daytime, so potatoe pcs might be having a hard time[/]
[]Basically i just added stuff without changing existing objects, so there shouldnt be any conflicts with other mods (Make it last in load order if you want to be save)[/]
For best visual results I
highly recommend to download my init settings
. Additionally i recommend these mods for best ambient:

Rabbit's REAL LIGHTS Akila City is a lighting overhaul for Akila City in Starfield, adding over 200 hand-placed light sources to replace fake lights with realistic ambient lighting. It's for players who want a more immersive, atmospheric city without changing gameplay.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust (1,454 endorsements) and massive download count (130k+)
- Hand-placed lights mean a curated, realistic look instead of a blanket filter
- Active development (last updated April 2026) so it's likely compatible with current game patches
⚠️ Cons
- No explicit compatibility notes for other lighting mods or city overhauls
- Requires manual installation or mod manager setup, but no install guide provided
- Only affects Akila City, so other cities remain untouched
For Starfield players who love Akila City's wild west vibe but hate the flat, fake lighting. If you're a screenshot enthusiast or roleplayer who wants a more atmospheric city, this is a must-have. Skip if you want gameplay changes or a whole-galaxy lighting overhaul.
