DESCRIPTION
Sound replacer for the orchestral quest progression music - if, by chance, you are tired of hearing it or find it too loud and dramatic.
The sounds are replaced with simple taiko drum roll, sub, and subtle noise in order to stay faithful and not deviant too far from the original game.
Cinematic stingers and story music have been left in – they will still play when appropriate. An alternative sound has been provided.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 560 endorsements and nearly 69k downloads
- Keeps the game's feel with on-theme percussion instead of jarring silence
- Perfect for players tired of the same epic fanfare after every quest
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects quest completion music—other music remains unchanged
- Last updated in September 2023—may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim version
For Skyrim players who find the default quest completion fanfare too loud or repetitive and want a more subtle audio cue. Skip if you enjoy the epic orchestral sting or want broader music overhauls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager, you can preview the sound files before installing to ensure they fit your taste.
- Place the mod lower in your load order to avoid conflicts with other audio mods that modify music.
- Since this mod only changes quest completion music, you can safely pair it with other music overhauls that affect different tracks.
