📋 About This Mod
Remodeled Mantis spacesuit, alternative versions of it and additional outfits and a cape for both male and female.
Replaces the original ingame. Vagabond and Stalker spacesuits, boostpack and helmets are standalone.
- Outfits, the cape and the Vagabond and Stalker spacesuits, boostpack and helmets are found next to Mantis Spacesuit in a black chest, in Mantis Lair.
- Alternative skins craftable at spacesuit workbench for all the content.
- All the items are craftable also at industrial workbench
- Updated the original to also reach Superior quality level
Use help mantis 4 armo to acquire console IDs and then player.additem <ID#> to acquire the outfits that way.
INSTALLATION:
Use any working mod manager or drop the files to your Steam Starfield Data directory and enable from Creation menu.Install any nude body texture mod, as shown in pictures for the outfits, to remove the vanilla underwear, for example: Starqueen textures.
CONFLICTS:
- The chest for the Vagabond and Stalker suits and outfits is tested to be there and there's nothing to fix on that. If you have already visited the Lair prior installing this mod, you might want to do a full cell refresh so wait on different planet for 72 hours UT or more (like on Venus) and then come back. Also make sure that you don't have other mods conflicting Mantis' Lair cell, for example there are mods that add content in the same space as the chest is.
- Installed body mods (VBB etc.) might cause my outfits arms to have gaps, especially if the character weight is not close to neutral. There is no fix for this, my outfts are not fully compatible with all the body mods out there and will never be without Bodyslide/Outfit studio kind of solutions.
- SFF or Milky Way Vixens are not supported, those mods will warp the skin textures.
- Also mods that add modular clothing pieces to be worn with normal clothing do not necessarily play well with my stuff as some mod slots are bound to be overlapped and things start to go invisible.
- If my outfits or NPCs go invisible for certain parts, try to put my mod last on your load order, or reinstall body mods or do some diagnostics via uninstalling and installing. This is not something I can fix as there's nothing to fix.

- Works for both genders, so no need to worry about compatibility with your character.
- Adds standalone outfits and a cape, giving you more fashion choices beyond the main suit.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated July 2026 — might not be compatible with future game patches, though it's recent enough.
- Requires manual installation or mod manager setup, but no explicit instructions provided.
For Starfield players who want a fresh take on the iconic Mantis suit without changing gameplay. If you're into fashion and role-playing, this is a must-have. Skip if you're looking for stat boosts or new mechanics — this is purely cosmetic.
