About the mod

Much of the graphic design in Starfield is very minimalistic and is made using digital methods. The same paintings are also repeated in various shapes and sizes, reducing visual variety. This is contributes to Starfield feeling bland, shallow, generic and boring to some.

This mod replaces the vanilla paintings with more visually appealing ones drawn from classic space and science fiction art. These are richer, more detailed and more evocative than the IKEA look that permeates much of the game's visual design.

I tried to match the colors, vibe and theme of the replacements with the original ones. This should prevent jarring mismatches between the painting and the rest of the environment.

So far this mod replaces 35 textures.

I hope to grow this mod in the future, replacing more and more as I find the time and energy to dedicate to this. Tipping and thanking always helps!

Installing / uninstalling

It is safe to install and uninstall using your regular mod manager. I use MO2 myself.
