📋 About This Mod
No more generic "XYZ Specialist."
All potential crew 'specialists' now have actual names, many of which you may recognize.
UPDATE Version 1. 1:
Gave each named specialist an appearance to somewhat resemble their named character
All Specialists now have randomized Skill levels, from Rank 1 to Rank 4
All Specialists now have randomized clothing from a list of flightsuits, jumpsuits, and fatigues
Issues: Appearance changes without CK exported facial geometry apparently lose their skin tone, affecting several of the modded specialist characters.
ESM Mod (Experimental SF1Edit) that gives all potential crew "Specialists" actual names taken from popular sci-fi space shows.
Issues:
If you install this mod during a current playthrough, any "Specialists" that have already spawned in certain locations in your game may still be generic Specialists and may become named NPCs only after those cells reset.
Installation:
Install as you would currently for ESM files.
Potential Conflicts:
The only vanilla record this mod edits is: Crew_LvlCrew_Any, but any mod that edits crew NPC records may not play well with this one.

- Only affects crew specialists, not other NPCs.
For Starfield players who are tired of seeing the same generic 'XYZ Specialist' names and want their crew to feel like actual people. If you're into roleplaying or just want more variety in your ship's crew, this is for you. Skip if you prefer to keep your crew's skills predictable or if you use heavy character overhaul mods that might conflict.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this mod randomizes skill ranks, check your crew's stats before assigning them to important outposts or ship roles.
- If you're using other mods that alter NPC appearances, load this one after them to ensure its changes take priority.
- This mod works with existing saves, so you can install it mid-playthrough without starting over.
