Hacker Smuggler Hideout

A hacker / smuggler hideout with tunnels going through Neon—including the spaceport! Perfect to run contraband off world or make a quick escape. Includes the ability to decorate how you want like a true player home, along with a hacker mini-game to farm XP and credits (details below).

You can find the body of a dead hacker with a key and instructions in some garbage bags behind the abandoned substation (map in images).

If you can't find the dead hacker for whatever reason, you can open the console and type help "Crate Key" and add the key using the player.additem ______ command. If the help command returns with no results, the mod is not properly installed.

The "mini-game" is a terminal you can repeatedly hack to earn XP and gain credits located in the hideout.

• []Active the laptop at the end of the main living area.

  []Select "Botnet.exe" and log in.

  []Select which network you wish to connect to. The difficulty of hacking each network is listed on the side. You will receive more credits for hacking more difficult networks (Novice = 250 credits, Expert = 500 credits, Advanced = 1,000 credits, Master = 2000 credits). These are based on loot tables in the game.

  []Close the laptop and activate the Netjack terminal on your left to begin hacking.

  []After you breach the network, upload the virus and get paid.

  Prefab Decorations NEW

  Next to the decorations panel in the entrance is now a "Prefab Decorator" panel. You can use this panel to enable and disable prefabricated decorations and furniture, including workbenches.

  • []Workshop Note: Adds a single bench made up of three sections. Each section of this bench is a unique workbench (Industrial, Armor, and Weapons). Navigate to each section to open up that workbench's menu.

    Sound System Control  NEW

    Navigate to your hacker computer to open up the Sound System. Select what music you would like to listen to as you hack the planets.

    I always make my own player homes in these games, but I've never shared before. I wanted to play a Neon hacker turned Starborn. Now you can, too. I hope it brings someone joy.
