📋 About This Mod
You've been consuming food and drinks including their packaging for way too long. Now that changes.
A certain set of food and drink items have an equivalent "empty variant" as clutter (misc) item. Consuming these items will now add those empty item variants to your inventory or drop them on the ground, depending on your gameplay option.
For one this adds to the immersion, at least a little. Eat a lot of chunks? Gotta toss away a lot of packaging.
A few other items are now part of a "recycling workflow". Crafted drink packs will yield an empty drink pack which can be recycled for new drink packs. TerraBrew and Tranquilitea are handled similarly (see details below).
Example: Distilled water is crafted from membrane and water. This mod adds a variant of the distilled water recipe that uses an empty drink pack instead of membranes.
Throw away, sell or recycle? It's up to you now.

Gameplay option "Auto Drop":Whether to drop the newly added objects directly to the ground instead

- Jettison - Simple Trash Disposal!
While I was thinking of ways to implement proper trash disposal, rbtRvlt already came up with a great solution.
------------------ COMPATIBILITY NOTICE --------------------
This mod should have no conflicts.
Consumable items added by other mods are not taken into account and would require additional patches.
No vanilla records are touched. A single script handles player consumable events to add respective misc items to the inventory.
Additional recipes and research options are all new records.
This small mod makes consuming certain food and drink items add their empty container variants to your inventory as clutter. It's a simple quality-of-life addition for players who want more realistic item management, with 49 endorsements and recent updates.
