📋 About This Mod
1. 1B A marker for The Rock was requested, and while this doesn't really fit with what I was going for with this mod I can see it would be useful for some. I've added a separate plugin, Additional Map Markers - Akila City which adds internal markers for The Rock and the Trackers Alliance HQ. This doesn't depend on the main mod, you can use it separately if you like.
1. 1A A lodge marker has been requested, but as entering the lodge is something the main questline uses for certain events I've added this one as an optional alternative main file. Jemison is also getting pretty crowded with markers on the New Atlantis tile. To be safe, I don't advise you fast travel to the lodge using the internal marker during any main quest mission that directs you to the lodge, or if the other New Atlantis fast travel markers are showing as unavailable.
1. 2 Starfield version 1. 15. 216. 0 has made a small change to Porrima III's worldspace, this update just passes through that change.
DESCRIPTION
This is a simple QOL mod which adds map markers to certain cities or settlements that have a main "internal" area, like the Neon Core map marker in the vanilla game. This means you can fast travel to those internal areas from anywhere (inc. from another star system) and won't have to land, walk to the door, and go through a second load screen.
At the moment the mod includes Cydonia, New Homestead, Red Mile,The Well (New Atlantis) and optionally The Lodge. The markers must be discovered first in order to appear on the planet map and be usable. Cydonia Central Hub is discovered as you approach the airlock door to enter Cydonia, New Homestead Interior is discovered in the lobby area just after you pass through the outer airlock, and Red Mile Interior is discovered just after passing through the airlock as well. The Well's internal marker is discovered by the lift at the New Atlantis spaceport, right by the existing (surface) fast travel marker for The Well. The Cydonia and New Homestead markers are both close to the mission boards and bounty clearance kiosks.
An optional separate plugin is available for some internal markers in Akila City, with The Rock and the Trackers Alliance. These are both discovered at their respective rear entrances, i.e. behind The Rock, and in the alleyway beside the Trackers Alliance; see images.
CAVEATS
When fast travelling to some interior markers

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Saves time by skipping an extra loading screen when fast traveling to city interiors.
- Well-received by the community with 172 endorsements and over 17k downloads.
- Simple, focused quality-of-life improvement that doesn't clutter your game with extra content.
⚠️ Cons
- Only covers specific cities and settlements mentioned (Cydonia, New Homestead) — other locations may not be included.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter map markers or fast travel systems.
- Last updated in May 2025, so it may not be compatible with the latest game patches if they changed map or fast travel mechanics.
For Starfield players who are tired of the extra loading screen when entering city interiors and want a quicker way to get to shops, quest givers, or their ship. If you're a completionist who visits Cydonia and New Homestead often, this is a must-have. Skip if you prefer to keep your map vanilla or rarely fast travel.
