📋 About This Mod

Replace your puny flashlight with a proper floodlight.

This mod replaces your default helmet flashlight with a much broader light source. This new flashlight covers not only the full visible screen area in 1st-person view (depending on the distance, of course), it also has about 25% more range than before, i.e. as far as the engine allows. See pictures for examples.

There are 4 versions of the mod:

  • []Floodlight version (no flashlight cone, but filling the full screen)

[]Floodlight version as above but a bit weaker in brightness

[]Non-floodlight version, just your regular flashlight (including your installed flashlight texture) but more range and more width

[]Non-floodlight version, more range and width, as above, but slightly weaker in brightness

    Please note:

    • []The floodlight versions of the mod will ignore any flashlight texture replacer which you may have installed.

[]NPCs (e.g. Spacers) will also use the same light.

    • When the environment is very foggy, the light will of course also light the fog, in these cases it may get brighter than you like (see foggy example picture).

PS: Can be added or removed any time during gameplay, no dependencies.
