yes, you will have to keep RTFP updated to keep using this. when I eventually get around to doing more eye mods, I'll be doing ESM's instead in order to control more shit on my end.

no, I don't feel the need to provide an ESM for this right now. RTFP is a great framework that's EXTREMELY user-friendly once you understand how to use it. you can pick and choose what eye colors you want from this mod without ever having to touch the CK or even XEdit thanks to the way RTFP works. if I spot any slander against it in the posts/bugs tab, that entitled shit is getting deleted.

non-replacer. adds 24 new options to the CC.

Installation:

it's plug-and-play. use the manager of your choice or unzip it straight into your game folder (not recommended. they're loose files, so it can get cluttered). images are auto-approved, so feel free to leave your screenshots <3

For modders/personal customizers:

these are a modders resource. do with them whatever you please.

I tried to provide a good range of colors, and they're all the same size/style so you can layer them to make your preference.

If you don't want your CC cluttered with all the eye textures you're never going to use:

find the name of the color you want gone in the textures folder path. now open the txt file in the SFSE folder path. I added some things to the images tab of the mod page that'll show you the two groups you need to edit to remove the entries (Eyecolor and Chargen_Eyecolor) AND the length of a single entry.

you'll need to remove the entry (for example: |add_entr(1:"aether_eye_s_autumn":"textures/actors/human/faces/eyes/aether_iris_s_autumn.dds")| ) from BOTH groups. after that, you can delete the .dds file from the textures folder without issue.

a modder bitching and moaning:

this mod taught me that I no longer have the patience for 2D art stuff. if I can't just doodle straight on a mesh I don't even wanna do it at this point

I can't get the blender thing or the Nifskope beta to work after like one attempt so of course all hope is lost forever. honestly, I wish I had put in a little more effort to find the right extraction workflow, because fitting this shit on a flat plane was gross and annoying and I didn't like it so you only get two pupil options lol

one more thing of note: starfield does a weird backlighting thing for eyes I need to figure out before I can go any further with them. it REALLY threw me off as I was trying to get colors to look good in-g
