Wstydliwy - Missile Barge

Crippling capital ships is a task usually given to bomber squadrons, which are agile enough to evade their AA counter-fire. However, they are not very effective at dealing with defense stations - immobile and posing less threat at a distance, but protected by far stronger armor. To deal with them, missile barges are brought forward instead, once battlefield control has been established. "Wstydliwy" is a widely used model of such a ship. Its mobility is limited - price paid for additional launchers it carries. Fired salvos approach the target from two different angles, to increase chance of hitting any exposed weak spots between armor plates. Use of missile barges requires specific battlefield conditions, but they excel at what they do. Sufficient numbers of "Wstydliwy" can make swift work of disassembling fortifications. Category: Artillery Artillery ships are equipped with long-range weapons, allowing them to fight from a safe distance. Their damage output is rather mediocre, so their piloting requires patience.
