Lambert - Heavy Attack Craft

"Lambert" is an attack craft - experimental concept, born from trying to work around the weakness of bombers - their limited missile capacity. The idea behind this ship is to use a large number of forward cannons, to achieve firepower level capable of hurting capital ships. Cannons are not limited by ammunition, but they are held back by energy capacity instead, forcing these attack crafts to repeatedly dive at their target and disengage for recharging, much like bombers do. If nothing else, this solution saves the time required for retreating to supply ships for more missiles, allowing "Lambert" to pressure its prey for as long as it wishes to. Category: Strike Craft Strike craft ships are very agile, but lacking in durability. Their use requires very skillful piloting (including the use of side thrusters) to avoid damage, while chipping away at enemy health with opportunity attacks.
