Odnowiciel - Field Shipyard

"Odnowiciel" is a field shipyard - large space facility designed for construction and repairs of various kinds of ships, including capitals. Field shipyards have their own engines, which allow them to be deployed to any location, always following one step behind the rest of the fleet fighting at a frontline. Although "Odnowiciel" is not made for combat, its lack of armor is well compensated with a few hundred engineers and cargo holds full of ship parts, enabling rapid self-repair ability. For offense, construction drones and welding lasers can be switched to defensive mode, turning its power of creation, into power of destruction. That ingenious function makes it a formidable foe, untouchable without a significant enemy commitment on a strategic scale. Category: Engineering Engineering ships are difficult to use effectively. They trade weapon power for high health and very efficient self-repair ability. Their use requires carefully calculated tactical approach: engaging the enemy to deal damage and pulling back for repairs when health gets too low.
