About the mod

A port of chaotic weather mechanics from the classic ABC Inferno mod to Anomaly with added MCM support. The mod changes the standard weather system, making weather changes more frequent and less predictable.

🌩️ Modes

CLASSIC MODE

Weather changes every 60 minutes of in-game time. Works identically to the original ABC Inferno.

DYNAMIC MODE

Probability-based system with increasing chance of weather change:

• []30-45 minutes: 1% chance per minute

  []45-55 minutes: 2. 5% chance per minute

  []55-60 minutes: 6% chance per minute

  []Exactly 60 minutes: 50% chance

  []60-70 minutes: 9% chance per minute

  []70-80 minutes: 14% chance per minute

  []80-90 minutes: 25% chance per minute

  []After 90 minutes: 45% chance per minute

Every in-game minute, the mod checks the probability of weather change based on elapsed time.

MANUAL MODE

Configure your own intervals:

• []Fixed: set exact time in minutes (5-240)

  []Random: set a range, mod will pick a random value for each change

✅ 13 weather presets — uses standard Anomaly presets

✅ Visual effect — white flash on weather change (optional)

✅ Underground level detection — mod doesn't work on underground levels (labs, bunkers, etc.)

📥 Installation

Manual installation

• []Extract the archive to the gamedata folder (create it if it doesn't exist)

  []Launch the game

• []Install Mod → select the archive

  []Activate in the left panel

  []Launch the game through MO2

Main

• []Preset Mode — mode selection (Classic/Dynamic/Manual)

Manual Mode

• []Use Random Interval — toggle between fixed and random interval

  []Fixed Interval — interval in minutes (5-240)

  []Random Minimum — minimum for random selection (5-180)

  []Random Maximum — maximum for random selection (10-240)

Effects

• []Enable Flash Effect — flash on weather change

  []Enable Notifications — on-screen notifications

  []Enable Debug Mode — extended logging to console
