The Evil Sledgehammer Strikes Again (Updated for 1.8.1)

I have always been amazed by the legendary shotgun from the first Soldier of Fortune game, nobody has ever done it better than Raven Software back in the day.

Stalker 2 has some really nice shotguns too, but they are heavily slowed down by high recoil, slow aiming and even slower reloads, so i picked the Sledgehammer with its high fire rate for some experimental changes.

Changes

1) The gun now holds 16 shells

2) When reloading each cycle loads 2 shells

3) Burst fire mode (set as default) and select fire available

4) Hardly any recoil

5) Reduced durability damage per shot

6) Fast aiming speed

7) Fast reload (-50%)

8) Faster jam animation

These changes only affect the Sledgehammer shotgun, the standard variant (SPSA-14) is not affected at all.

You can get this gun by winning the arena minigame (Rostok), or spawning it via console cmd (requires  Simple BP ModLoader):

Compatibility

This mod changes two files, if your mod changes them as well you got a conflict

1) WeaponGeneralSetupPrototypes.cfg

2) PlayerWeaponSettingsPrototypes.cfg

Installation

Unpack the .zip with a program of your liking (like 7z or similar) and then put the .pak file into your Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods folder (if the folder is missing create it manually, the "~" is needed)

If you are upgrading from version 1. 0 to 1. 1: Delete the old .pak and replace it with the new one, then spawn the gun again via UE console to get all changes

Tested on patch version 1. 8. 1
