The Crying Veteran (1.1.3)

Buffs the pre-order exclusive "Veteran" variant of the VS Vintar sniper/assault rifle to be more than just a beautiful skin.

The Veteran is based on the VSS Vintorez, a short-barreled automatic rifle chambered in 9x39mm SP-5 (subsonic) with a big over-barrel silencer that makes it a very effective special operations assault rifle for short to medium distances, sadly its only a very mediocre sniper rifle, so i decided not to buff the gun's baseline stats (dmg and armor pen) but instead convert it to a supersonic sniper caliber with a bigger mag (it's still ultra silent, because this is a video game ^^) so it gets all the benefits from the better cartridge (bullets are now twice as fast!) without making the rifle too overpowered for normal gameplay (its still full auto!).

Changes

1) Caliber conversion to 7. 62x54R

2) Standard magazine now holds 50 rounds

3) Heavily decreased jam chance and faster jam animation

4) Very fast aiming and increased movement speed while aiming

5) Fast reload (-30%)

If you already own the gun, you need to spawn it again to get all changes (requires UE Console):

Compatibility

This mod only changes pre-order specific files and should be compatible with most other mods.

Merged version for Oxide's eXpanded Armory is available under "Optional Files"!

Installation

Unpack the . 7z with a program of your liking (like 7z or similar) and then put the .pak file into your Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods folder (if the folder is missing create it manually, the "~" is needed)
