Quest Item Inventory Bug Fix Mod

When an emission occurs all quest items in the player's inventory will be unlocked and can be dropped or sold. If an item is stuck in your inventory and you cannot drop or sell it, this mod will fix that by unlocking all side quest related items when an emission occurs. There's a module to lock the items again as well.

  Installation

  To remove the quest item status from items, place the QuestItemBugFixMod.pak file in your game's mods folder and wait for the next emission.

  Optionally, if you wish to be able to drop or sell Skif's pistol, install QuestItemBugFixModSkifsPistol.pak.

  If you wish to restore quest items to their original state, you can use the QuestItemBugFixModRestoreAsQuestItems.pak file instead. This will revert all quest items still in the inventory back to their quest item status (during the next emission).

  Details

  The mod uses a variant of the same code as the related quests in the game should have used but did not. To achieve this it had to be associated with a recurring quest. That's where the emissions come in.

  It includes every quest item for which the Vanilla game contains code to change it into a normal item, with the exception of those of main quests: keys, PDAs, weapons, files, packages, note, diaries, flash drives, etc.
