Bigger Boom (increased damage for RPG-7U rocket launcher)

The RPG-7U is rare. It's heavy. Ammo is hard to find.  It falls apart every time you fire it.  And after all that, the damage is underwhelming.

By default, it does 90 damage to the player and 800 damage to NPCs/Monsters with penetration 4.  That might sound like a lot, but  some of the things you encounter in the Zone are rather tough - this Reddit post has more details.

This mod provides a few options that might just make hauling a piece of artillery around the zone worthwhile.  Or at least fun.

Options:

There are several .pak files in the .zip archive; only install one.

• []Quad Damage: 4x damage

  []Quad-Quad Damage: 16x damage

• playersafe versions: does not increase the damage done to the player, so it's as safe as the vanilla rocket launcher.

  Compatibility:

  Files changed: Stalker2\Content\GameLite\GameData\ExplosionPrototypes.cfg

  I don't know of any other mods that adjust explosions, but if there are any they will conflict with this mod.

  FAQ:

  Q. How many shots does the upgraded rocket launcher talk to kill a pseudogiant on stalker Difficulty?

  A. Four with 4x damage, one with 16x damage

  Q. Can you increase the blast radius?

  A. So far all my attempts to do so result in a game crash, a warning about the file being invalid or rockets failing to explode.  If I get it to work I'll upload a new version.

  Q. The damage still shows as really low when I examine the weapon in my inventory, why?

  A. For some reason the RPG-7U is set to damage 10 (less than the weakest pistol in the game!) and that is what determines the damage rating display, even though the explosion doesn't use that number at all. Fixing this would create compatibility issues with lots of other mods.
