Valkyrie Profiler

Valkyrie Profiler Find out what is actually causing those mysterious Space Haven stutters. Valkyrie Profiler is a lightweight in-game diagnostic tool designed to help identify frame spikes, slow game systems, expensive mod code, memory activity, and other performance problems. Features Press F8 during gameplay to open the profiler dashboard Live frame-time and worst-frame monitoring Automatically detects and records frame spikes Configurable spike threshold Tracks selected Space Haven hot paths such as production, logistics and mining Displays the hottest measured methods from the previous second Monitors JVM heap usage and garbage collection activity Optional Deep Spike Stack Sampling Captures main-thread stack samples from inside a stutter Optional profiling of Valkyrie mod entry points Generates detailed diagnostic reports for further analysis Designed to avoid continuous heavy instrumentation during normal use Deep Spike Analysis The most useful feature is Deep Spike Stack Sampling. When enabled, Valkyrie Profiler keeps a small rolling history of main-thread stack samples. If a frame spike occurs, the samples captured during the hitch are preserved. This can reveal exactly what the game was executing while the freeze happened instead of relying on guesswork. How to Use Press F8 and open Valkyrie Profiler. For general stutter hunting, a good starting configuration is: Profiler enabled Capture frame spikes Deep spike stack sampling Play normally until you notice a stutter, then press Dump Report. Reports are saved to: configs/ValkyrieProfiler-report.log Profiler Modes Production / Logistics Tracks selected production and logistics methods. Mining Manager Tracks mining-related game activity. Deep Spike Stack Sampling Captures what the main game thread was doing during a frame hitch. Valkyrie Mod Entry Points Adds additional timing around high-level Valkyrie mod systems. This mode is intended for temporary diagnostics rather than permanent use. Performance Valkyrie
