AutoBuyerMod

AutoBuyerMod Designed for the new station mode gameplay when station services automate outgoing resources. Automates purchasing of items from NPC ships based on configurable target stock levels using player credits. Uses event-driven logic, respects game physics/trade limits, and calculates needs based on current stock and items in transit. Run ONLY ONE: AutoBuyerMod OR AutoTraderMod Do not run AutoBuyerMod and AutoTraderMod at the same time. AutoTraderMod is a sister mod that includes the same buying logic as AutoBuyerMod and adds selling and bartering on top. Running both will cause the two mods to compete for the same NPC offers, double up on trade attempts, and produce unpredictable behavior. Pick the one that matches your playstyle: AutoBuyerMod (this mod): Best for station-mode play. Buy-only: automates incoming resources for stations whose station services already automate outgoing resources. AutoTraderMod: Best for ship-mode play (also works for stations). Buy + sell + barter: automates the full trading loop for fleets that move between sectors and need to offload excess. If you currently use AutoBuyerMod and want to switch to AutoTraderMod, unsubscribe AutoBuyerMod (and remove the AutoBuyerMod.jar line from config.json; see the install fix at the bottom of this page) before subscribing to AutoTraderMod. Important Note If you are using this mod on a new game, I recommend lowering your configured stock levels and credit limits to early game friendly levels. All those can be adjusted in the mod loader. My to-do list includes a more sensitive algorithm that will adjust with progression level. Core Functionality Automatic Trade Creation: Automatically buys items when NPC ships arrive in-sector. Multi-Ship Prioritization: Trades with the best available ship based on multiple criteria. Trade Mode Prioritization: Prioritizes Discounted > Neutral > Markup items.
