The Hermit is a fully playable custom character for Slay the Spire 2, ported from the beloved STS1 mod by AlexMdl. A mysterious gunslinging wanderer who fights from the shadows using precise hand positioning, crippling debuffs, and dark curse synergy. Master the art of the Dead On mechanic — cards gain powerful bonus effects when played from the middle of your hand.
About This Port
This is a port of the original The Hermit mod by AlexMdl to Slay the Spire 2. AlexMdl is aware of this port and has stated: "I generally don't mind what people do with my assets as long as it's for fun and am not against this."

Installation

[]Download and install BaseLib (required dependency). Place the BaseLib mod folder in your STS2 mods directory:
/steamapps/common/Slay the Spire 2/mods/BaseLib/[/
][]Download The Hermit mod files (
HermitMod.dll,
HermitMod.pck, and
HermitMod.json).[/]
[]Create a folder called
HermitMod inside your STS2 mods directory:

[]Place all three files into that folder.[/]
[]Launch Slay the Spire 2 — The Hermit will appear on the character select screen.[/]
If you are encountering bugs following the recent STS2 Beta Branch update, consider switching to the 1. 0. 4-BetaBranchHotFix
version of the mod.
