  Playstyle

  • []Self-Poison: The Alchemist doses themselves on purpose. Some attacks deal additional damage based on your Poison and other cards listen for how often your Poison is triggered.[/]

    []Antitoxin: A reserve that absorbs the damage your Poison would deal. It persists across turns and doesn't decay, so you can stack it up.[/]

    []Mix: These are tokens you can create in combat, and you can often choose which one: Bursting (damage), Fuming (Weak and Vulnerable), Syrupy (Block) and Zesty (Draw and Antitoxin).[/]

    []Decant: These cards have a Decant level that rises whenever you create a card, wherever they are. Play one at full level and its Decant effect also activates, resetting the level.[/]

    []Ferment: These cards grow in potency for every turn they stay in your hand. Playing one adds a Residue to your Discard Pile.[/]

    []Brew: This Rest Site option allows you to procure one of 7 unique potions that can only be obtained this way. Due to the quality of these brews, the Merchant is willing to buy them from you for Gold.[/]

    This mod is still in it's early stages and content is subject to change, but feedback is welcome! The best place to discuss the mod is official Slay the Spire Discord server in the #modding-forum.

    The Alchemist has been lovingly crafted to feel like a natural addition to the game. Every card, relic, and potion has been (and will continue to be) balanced against the existing game. The same care extends to flavor and lore: this character's story is woven directly into the game's existing timeline, and observant players will find more than a few threads connecting them to the world.
