Description

Adds a new playable character: Hiro Nikaido.

Hiro specializes in powerful high-risk, high-reward cards and mechanics. The mod includes 84 new cards, 15 tokens, 3 exclusive potions, and a complete set of custom card artwork.

Supports both English and Chinese.

Installation instructions

1. Download and extract the mod.

2. Place the entire mods folder into your Slay the Spire 2 installation directory:

Main features

Rewind: Revive at full HP after death. Hiro can gain additional Rewinds through various means, but starts with only 21 Max HP.

Stress / WitchForm: Stress is the price of using Hiro's most powerful cards. Upon reaching 10 Stress, Hiro immediately enters WitchForm, during which her actions are automatically controlled for the remainder of the turn.

Conviction: A negative status effect that causes its target to take double damage. One stack is consumed whenever the effect is triggered.

Players must target enemies with Conviction first whenever possible, and automatic card-play effects will prioritize those targets as well.

Self-Damage: Damage dealt to yourself that can be blocked and is affected by Strength. It synergizes well with Rewind-based strategies and can also be used to consume your own Conviction. 

Assistance: A unique category of tokens with unusual effects. Assistance Cards can provide powerful utility and turn the tide of battle when used at the right moment.
