✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Gives Russian players a seamless way to keep names in their language without swapping the overhaul itself.
- Clean, focused patch — no extra files or changes beyond name translations.
- Last updated August 2026, so it's fresh and ready for current setups.
⚠️ Cons
- Zero endorsements and downloads — brand new and unproven, so no community feedback yet.
- Requires downloading and installing the original Whimsical Wizards mod separately.
- Only translates names; other in-game text or voice lines stay in English.
Russian-speaking Skyrim SE players who use Whimsical Wizards - Winterhold College NPC Overhaul and want NPC names in Russian. Good for those who prefer localized names while keeping the visual overhaul intact. Skip if you're fine with English names or don't use the original mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Use Vortex or Mod Organizer 2: after installing the original overhaul, install this translation and let it overwrite, or set its load order after the main mod.
- If installing manually, copy the translation files into your Skyrim Data folder after installing the original mod, choosing to overwrite when prompted.
- Check in-game: if names still appear in English, make sure this translation loads after the original mod, not before.
