INSTALLATION

Install as usual with mod manager or manually.

This mod is 100% vanilla, so doesn't require extra stuff, but probably you are using improved replacers for some vanilla head parts, so, if you have crashes or you just want to apply those improvements to included characters, go to facegendata directory and remove Wanderers.esp folder, then export heads again with Creation Kit, or as alternative, you can use Face Discoloration Fix. Also note that  alternative versions like Wanderers HP don't includes exported heads to avoid same issues.

Also note that this plugin is esl flagged and created with latest CK version, so, if you are using an older game version, you will need Backported Extended ESL Support.

I created this mod with the purpose of adding some inconsequential NPCs which could be hired for player homes, and testing some features in Social Skyrim, but they can be used for any purpose you want. I know there are tons of mods that add new NPCs to Skyrim, but most of them include random spawned character with generic names, or unique NPCs but with complicated quests which can be broken, aggressive behaviors, custom dialogues that are repeated over and over again, until you end up hating the character... So, they weren't suitable for me.

This is what you can find in this mod:

More than 130 characters from all main races (except children, elder, khajiit and argonian), and more or less the same amount for both genders, but not all races are equally popular. All of them are unique and protected to avoid an early death, and can level up with player, however, those designed to be mercenaries or followers can reach a higher level, and have better weapons and armors or spells. On the contrary, those characters designed to be workers, merchants, friends, lovers... usually use clothes, and equip basic weapons and no spells (except the nudist imperials, otherwise they would be defenseless), and have unaggressive behaviors by default.

Despite the mod tittle, NPCs doesn't travel arround, they are placed on ruined houses or improvised camps near cities, farms, sawmills... but not too close to avoid conflicts with other mods like cities overhauls. In some cases, NPCs are accompanied by animals like horses, dogs, flock of sheep or cows... and they can be hired as pets. I think I've covered all locations, including Solstheim, but note that some places have a complicated orography, so, number of NPCs will be reduced.

All characters have a basic sandbox behavior and sleep routine, I've added some animation markers or furniture for more immersion, and some times they can use vanilla ones if they are within reach.
