Compatibility
VanillaPlus contains nothing but loose files. You can use it as a base and overwrite it with any NPC replacer you like.
The mod will work with any bodies and textures you have installed. But If you want the result exactly as in the screenshots, then here is the list of mods I use:
BnP - Female Skin
Humans: Young 2. 0
Elves: Young 1. 7
Vamp Diffuse: 5
Vamp NM: 2. 0. humanlike
Diffuse: moles

Skin: Frostnip wt frostnip and blush
Vamp: 5, humanlike
(I use SimpleReplacer 1k compressed)

Bosmer: dark eyes
For orcs I prefer Kala's Eyes-Elf Eyes Updated with Orsimer

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 203 endorsements and 5,453 downloads.
- ESP-free means no plugin slot usage and fewer compatibility headaches.
- Hair physics add a subtle but noticeable visual upgrade to NPCs.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in May 2024, so may not be fully compatible with the latest game patches.
- As an NPC overhaul, it may conflict with other mods that alter the same NPCs.
- Hair physics can be performance-intensive on lower-end systems.
For Skyrim players who want a lore-friendly visual upgrade to NPCs without adding plugin bloat. If you're tired of vanilla hair and want subtle physics, this is for you. Skip if you prefer total NPC makeovers or need frequent updates.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's ESP-free, just drop the files into your Data folder or use a mod manager for easy installation.
- Check for conflicts with other NPC overhauls in your load order; use a mod manager to manage overwrites.
- If you experience performance issues, consider disabling hair physics in the mod's settings if available.
