Valiant Vigilants - Keeper Carcette and Stendarr Faction Overhaul

A modest overhaul for Keeper Carcette & the Vigilants of Stendarr in keeping with my "Vanilla Plus" approach to Skyrim's aesthetics. All members of the Vigilant faction will now wear a set of chain mail robes (textures courtesy of Xavbio) while Carcette herself will wear the Keeper's Cuirass, a unique set of steel plate armor. The new robes are craftable at any tanning rack as long as you have an Amulet of Stendarr in your inventory. Finally, I've sprinkled in some distinctive banners within the Hall of the Vigilant & at Stendarr's Beacon.

I whipped this mod up in a few days because I needed a creative break from updating one of my larger overhauls. Hope you like it!

REQUIREMENTS:

The mesh files for the Vigilant of Stendarr armors from Warmonger Armory are 100% REQUIRED. The actual plugin & any other meshes or textures are not needed so you can delete them if you'd like. The file path for the necessary mesh folder is "Meshes>Armor>VigilantStendarr", so please make sure you have those installed lest you have issues with invisible bodies.

COMPATIBILTY & OTHER INFO:

Any mod that modifies Carcette's base record or makes changes to the Vigilants' outfits would need patching.

• []Immersive World Encounters - Compatible (The Carcette you encounter in the open world is a clone of the original so her appearance & stats are copied over without issue.)

  []Armor and Clothing Extension - Technically (Overrides outfit records for the Vigilants of Stendarr using a script so you might not see the upgraded armor. If I recall, you should be able to uncheck the option to enact this particular script in the MCM, but it's been a while since I've used ACE.)

  []JK's Stendarr Rising - Probably (Based on the mod description, it should be compatible, but I haven't tested it myself since I personally haven't tried that mod. Sorry, but I'm a Daedra-lover! Long live the House of Reclamations! Probably just load JK's mod after this one if you can?)

  • []Keeper Carcette Survives - Forwards Carcette's appearance to the "aftermath" version. In addition, I've removed the added NPCs from the guard faction as a minor bugfix since they don't have access to the arrest dialogue & it can cause conflicts with mods that use SPID to assign unique armor to guards.
