✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust with 2,194 endorsements and over 211k downloads.
- Does exactly what it says: replaces generic 'Skyrim' labels with region-specific names for better immersion.
- Simple, non-intrusive UI tweak that works with most setups.
⚠️ Cons
- Not updated since October 2021, so it may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim SE patches or other UI mods.
- Only affects exterior location labels; interiors and other UI elements remain unchanged.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter map or compass labels, so load order matters.
For Skyrim players who want a more immersive map and compass by seeing region names like 'The Rift' instead of just 'Skyrim.' It's perfect for roleplayers and explorers who appreciate small details. Skip if you're looking for major UI overhauls or gameplay changes—this is purely a cosmetic label fix.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Install with a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to keep your load order clean.
- Place this mod early in your load order to avoid conflicts with other UI mods that might overwrite location names.
- If you use a map mod like 'A Quality World Map,' test the labels after installation to ensure they display correctly.
